STAMATA VINEYARD
Harlaftis Estate is six acres of
vineyard that unfold upon the gently rolling slopes of mount Pendeli within the
jurisdiction of the small village of Stamata, about 22klm northeast of Athens. The area
enjoys a perfect geographical structure from growing grapes with a chalky substratum
covered by a layer of stony clay allowing for drainage and soil heating.
NEMEA VINEYARD
The Harlaftis company purchased a large vineyard located in Nemea, Corinth in December 1997. A
red variety of grapes, mainly Agiorgitiko, was immediately planted. The company
has built new facilities with special underground cellars for the maturation of the red wines.
